I used to have Undying on my old Windows XP PC. It worked perfectly and etc.
Now, I got me a nice new computer with a 15" widescreen monitor and with Windows Vista.
I've installed the game and it works perfectly, except for two things:
1. I can't install the texture updater because there are no system.ini nor user.ini files on the "system" folder. The only ini files are Default.ini and DefUser.ini
2. Undying does not reckognizes the widescreen resolution, not even a basic 1360x768x32.
Can someone please help? Oh, and don't tell me to update/donwgrade Windows Vista. |

These files (System.ini and User.ini) should appear after the first successful run of the game. Then you'll be able to use Texture Updater.
As for screen resolution, you can set it yourself. Open the System.ini file with Notepad, then find the lines:
[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=...
WindowedViewportY=...
WindowedColorBits=...
FullscreenViewportX=...
FullscreenViewportY=...
FullscreenColorBits=...
Brightness=0.500000
...
Change the Fullscreen* stuff to your resolution, e.g.
[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=800
WindowedViewportY=600
WindowedColorBits=32
FullscreenViewportX=1680
FullscreenViewportY=1050
FullscreenColorBits=32
Brightness=0.500000
...
If .ini files don't appear, you can simply copy Default.ini as System.ini, and DefUser.ini as User.ini manually. _________________ That is not dead which can eternal lie,
